About Tanya Manikkam
Tanya Manikkam ND has been interested in holistic medicine from an early age. After graduating with a degree in psychology from the University of Ottawa, she studied biology at the University of Toronto. She then successfully graduated from Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2009. As part of her program, Tanya completed an internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic and spent four months at the Sherbourne Health Centre in downtown Toronto where she gave free naturopathic care to low-income HIV positive individuals. Tanya uses clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, orthomolecular medicine, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and desiccated thyroid in order to help her patients achieve an optimal state of health. She now practices in Ottawa, Ontario and has a special focus in mental health, menopause and hypothyroidism. Tanya Manikkam ND is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and is registered with The College of Naturopaths of Ontario. She is also a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M). She is currently completing her certification in advanced endocrinology with the Metabolic Medical institute.
