Tracy-Lynn Reside, BScH, ND

Tracy-Lynn grew up in southern Alberta and moved to Ontario in 1996, where she completed her BScH in Biology at Queen’s University, specializing in population genetics and ecology. She began her career as a program coordinator and knowledge translator in the Canadian agriculture and food production sector, where she facilitated programs and fostered partnerships across Canada and internationally.

Dr. Reside, ND, is a 2012 graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and spent a decade running a family-focused practice in Petawawa and Trenton, Ontario. In 2021, she joined the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors as Manager of Education. She has since expanded her role to ensure that Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) are represented in key healthcare conversations in Ontario. She is a passionate advocate for the naturopathic profession, planetary health and sustainable food policy.

Driven by the belief that “what good is a healthy individual on a dying planet,” Tracy-Lynn champions the integration of individual health with planetary well-being. She views health as inseparable from the ecosystems we inhabit and works to address the social and environmental determinants of health in her advocacy and professional roles.

Tracy-Lynn also brings her expertise to Canadore College, where she teaches medical ethics, anatomy, and physiology, incorporating naturopathic perspectives into these essential topics. She is set to defend her Master of Science research thesis in Social Neuroendocrinology, further solidifying her commitment to advancing knowledge and solutions that bridge science, health, and sustainability.

She makes her home in North Bay, Ontario with her partner Chris, where she grows food, attempts pottery, and chases after her three busy kids.
