Emma Pollon-MacLeod has built a practice that colleagues describe as a model of evidence-based, collaborative naturopathic care. She is known for bridging conventional and naturopathic medicine, organizing events with obstetricians and medical doctors, and creating shared frameworks for integrative care across Ottawa. Nominated by a colleague who has observed her clinical leadership firsthand, Dr. Pollon-MacLeod is recognized as someone who opens doors for the profession, not just for her own patients.

Katie Rothwell has spent over a decade building one of Ontario's most respected thyroid-focused naturopathic practices, specializing in Hashimoto's disease, hypothyroidism, and evidence-based thyroid hormone prescribing. In 2022 she founded The Thyroid Academy, a professional education platform training clinicians across Canada, and has taught at OAND and BRBC conferences. As owner of a six-ND clinic in Barrie, she mentors colleagues daily, aiming not just to practise excellence but to share it.

With 22 years of practice in Toronto, she is particularly recognized for her work with complex and autoimmune presentations, combining nutritional approaches, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and homeopathic therapies. Praised for clinical reasoning that is broad in scope, practical in application, and always patient-centred.

In ten years of practice, Harsimranjeet Singh Bhatia has earned naturopathic medicine a seat at the table inside one of the country's major hospital systems. An expert in integrative fertility care, he has built collaborative relationships with fertility clinics across Ontario and presented alongside physicians at endometriosis patient education events. This past year, he delivered grand rounds to the Ottawa Hospital's Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Newborn Care to over 50 physicians, earning a perfect 5-out-of-5 evaluation across every category. As his nominators put it, he doesn't just open doors, he holds them open for the next ND who walks through.

In five and a half years of practice, Owen Wiseman has built a clinical interest in nature prescribing into a body of leadership spanning local patient care to international conservation policy. He develops personalized nature prescriptions accounting for each patient's built environment and real-life circumstances, serves as an Advisor to NatureQuant, supports Canada's national nature prescription program PaRx, and has been invited to join the IUCN's World Commission on Protected Areas Health and Well-Being Specialist Group. He graduated as valedictorian and served as President of the Naturopathic Students' Association. As his nominator notes, his drive to contribute has simply never stopped.
