Dr. Sonya Doherty is a practicing Naturopathic Doctor and proud OAND member for over 20 years. Her clinical practice is focused on the medical management of autism spectrum disorder and other developmental conditions, an area of care that Dr. Doherty is deeply passionate about. In 2006, she co-founded the Natural Care Clinic, a thriving naturopathic clinic in Burlington, Ontario, alongside her sister, Dr. Carissa Doherty, ND. She is also a co-founder of Exceptional ND, an educational platform dedicated to supporting continuing education and advancing professional knowledge within the naturopathic profession. Through Exceptional ND and their free student platform, Exceptional Interns, the team is committed to mentoring and supporting the next generation of naturopathic doctors. The clinic takes great pride in serving as preceptors and mentors to as many students and interns as possible.
