Dr. Barb Weiss is a Naturopathic Doctor with over 20 years of experience in clinical practice, healthcare leadership, advocacy, and board governance. She has been actively involved with the OAND and professional advocacy throughout her career. She an active contributor and collaborator on OAND consultation submissions, has served as Chair of the Labs Working Group and the Government Relations Committee, and has participated in advocacy meetings with provincial government representatives, executive branch officials, policymakers, and MPP lobby days. Dr. Weiss was also actively involved in the advocacy efforts that supported the transition of the naturopathic profession from the Drugless Practitioners Act (DPA) to the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA) while serving as Board Chair of CCNM/INER. Dr. Weiss is passionate about advancing the naturopathic profession through strong governance, collaboration, advocacy, and health system integration.
