Veronika Achor

Veronika Achor is a policy professional with nearly a decade of experience across the Government of Canada and non-governmental organizations. Her career spans multiple federal departments, including Health Canada’s COVID-19 Task Force, where she supported data integration to inform accurate, timely, and equitable pandemic responses during a period of unprecedented uncertainty. She demonstrates a strong ability to translate experience across contexts, applying prior expertise to advance policy initiatives at Public Safety Canada and the Canada Border Services Agency that strengthen national security, border integrity, and public safety. Her work includes cross-government coordination, strategic policy analysis, and engagement with domestic and international partners on complex security challenges.
She holds a Master of Arts in Conflict Studies from Saint Paul’s University / University of Ottawa and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies with a minor in Global Development Studies from Queen’s University. Her academic background informs a strong analytical lens grounded in political analysis, governance, and global security dynamics.
Outside of her professional work, she enjoys fitness, international travel, and exploring new cultures.
