Fiona Hill is a seasoned public affairs leader with more than 20 years of experience advancing health policy, stakeholder engagement, and organizational transformation in Ontario’s healthcare sector. She joins the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors as Director, Engagement, Policy and Advocacy, bringing a proven track record of building trust with diverse stakeholders, shaping effective advocacy strategies, and strengthening the voice of health professionals.
Throughout her career, Fiona has held senior leadership roles spanning government, hospital, research, and health regulation. Most recently, Fiona was the Director of Communications and Media at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO), where she played a major role in advancing the organization’s modernization agenda by transforming the College’s voice, building key relationships, and supporting systemic change through the implementation of right-touch regulation. She led strategic communications, EDI, and stakeholder engagement and co-led the organization’s COVID-19 response. As Principal of her own consulting practice, she has also advised healthcare organizations and regulatory bodies on policy, strategy, and executive positioning.
Recognized for her people-centered leadership approach and passion for building collaborative solutions, Fiona has championed initiatives that embed equity, diversity, and inclusion in healthcare, while ensuring organizations are positioned as credible, influential voices in public policy dialogue. She is a trusted advisor to executives and boards, adept at navigating complex policy environments and guiding transformative engagement strategies that deliver measurable impact.
Fiona holds a BA in Political Science from Western University, a postgraduate certificate in Public Relations from Humber College, a professional certificate in Knowledge Translation and a Health Leadership certificate from Rotman.
