Continuing Education Coordinator

The Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) is looking for an experienced Continuing
Education Coordinator. This detail-­‐oriented, self-­‐starter will bring knowledge of naturopathic medicine
and experience in planning and coordinating Continuing Education (CE) sessions. Reporting to the CEO
and working closely with the OAND events team, the CE Coordinator will develop and deliver the yearly
CE offerings, sourcing and coordinating speakers, identifying sponsorship opportunities and hosting the
sessions. They will rely on the advice of skilled volunteer naturopathic doctors in our CE Advisory Group
to help develop the yearly programming that best addresses our members’ continuing education needs.
The ideal candidate will:

  • Understand the CE landscape for naturopathic doctors in Ontario;
  • Have experience developing and delivering CE for association members;
  • Want to work closely with the naturopathic community, including speakers, sponsors and other
    stakeholders to better understand their needs and wants;
  • Be excited about managing all aspects of a CE portfolio, including budgeting, planning, regulatory
    approval, sponsorship, promotion, delivery and evaluation;
  • Be an amazing communicator.

The OAND is the professional association of naturopathic doctors in Ontario. We have 1,100+ members
and 400+ student affiliate members. Our mandate is to champion naturopathic medicine and provide a
variety of services, from advocacy and advertising to member support and programming.

Hours: Full-­‐time preferred.
Compensation package: Will depend upon experience.
Location: Virtual at present, then to-­‐be-­‐determined with at least some office time in-­‐person.
